Welcome to Gotta Dance Studio. We have been providing dance instruction to children and adults in the New Bedford area for over seven years. We accept new students starting at age two and all the way through adulthood. We instruct in a large variety of dance disciplines with dedicated and knowledgable instructors at very affordable tuition payments.
Here is a brief description of our Faculty.
Gina Fortin, Owner/Artistic Director
Gina started her dancing career at the age of two where she studied under the direction of Cheryl McCormack in New Bedford. While with Cheryl McCormack, she won numerous regional and national titles. As well as the titles, she and her team won a spot to perform at Epcot Center in Walt Disney World. She has been teaching dance for over ten years. She choreographed for the Whaling City Show Choir and also for the New Bedford High School Show Choirs for several years. She has directed a very successful Competition Team for several years now, and hopes to continue their success for years to come.
She has received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fisher College and a Bachelor?s Degree in Communications with a Concentration in Dance from Bridgewater State College. She has also studied with various famous dancers from all over the country. She has pride in her studio and every student that walks through the door. She strives to make every student the best dancer they can be in a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
Miss Robin Buhour
Robin has been teaching dance for over three years, though she has been working with preschool aged children for many more. Miss Robin teaches our young students the basics in dance and creative movement.
At Gotta Dance Studio, we instruct in Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Cheering, Breakdancing, Bellydancing and Voice. If you don't see a discipline you are interested in, just ask, we add new dances when we can.
